Privacy Policy

Free AI Rap Video ("we", "us") operates https://freeairapvideo.com, a service that turns photos of you and a friend into a short AI rap video: an original rap written by AI, or our own AI-made remake of a trending rap meme. This policy explains what we collect, why, who processes it and how long we keep it. Questions: support@freeairapvideo.com.

What we collect

Account data: your email address when you sign in with an email code, or your name, email address and profile picture from Google when you sign in with Google.
Uploads: the two photos you add, one of you and one of a friend, each showing one person. Every person in them must be you or an adult who agreed to be in the video.
Stage pictures: for an original rap, an AI image model first puts the two of you, as in your photos, on the stage you picked; that picture starts the video and is reused if you make the full video from the same photos.
Lyrics: an AI text model writes the verse of every original rap. If you type a topic for a full original rap, that text is sent to it and checked by our automated content-safety system first; the topic and the verse are stored with that video. Your photos are never sent to it.
Generated videos: the videos made for you, plus details such as the stage or meme, the date and the status.
Consent records: the date and wording of the box you tick before every video, stored with that video.
Safety check results: whether each photo and each finished video passed our automated checks, the labels they returned, and any decision a person made on review.
Credits and purchases: your credit balance, credit history and a record of each purchase (amount, pack, date). Card details are handled entirely by our payment provider; we never see or store card numbers.
Abuse prevention: IP address and a device identifier, used to rate-limit requests and stop abuse.
Free clip records: to keep the free clip to one per Google account, we record which account had it, a one-way fingerprint of the Google account it was claimed with (a hash of Google's account number, not your email or name), and the device identifier and IP address range it was claimed from, to spot abuse and to limit how many free clips one network can claim in a day.
Usage analytics: aggregated page views and the steps of making a video, without your photos or email.

We do not use your photos to identify you, and we never use them for anything except making and checking your video.

How we use it

To generate, store and deliver your videos.
To run credits, purchases, refunds, payment disputes and support.
To enforce our content rules: no minors, no public figures, no one who did not agree, no sexual or harassing content, nothing meant to mislead people about what a real person said or did. Uploads and finished videos are checked by automated content-safety systems, and a person reviews flagged videos.
To send the service emails you asked for, such as "your video is ready", and reminders about a purchase you started. Every non-essential email has an unsubscribe link.

Who receives your photos

Your photos are sent only to the service providers below, only to make and check your video, through private links that stop working within an hour:

AI video generation: a provider of AI image and video models makes your video from your photos. For an original rap, an image model first puts the two of you on the stage, and a video model then makes you rap the verse; for a meme remake, a video model makes the two of you in our own AI-made version of the meme.
Content safety: a moderation provider runs automated checks on every uploaded photo and on frames of every finished video.
Cloudflare hosts the site, the database and file storage, and runs the step that puts the finished video together.

None of them may use your photos for their own purposes, and we do not use your photos or videos to train AI models. You can ask support@freeairapvideo.com for the current list of these providers.

Other processors

Payments: Stripe processes purchases and stores payment details.
Sign-in: Google, when you choose Sign in with Google. Sign-in codes and service emails are sent through Resend, with Cloudflare Email Service as a backup.
Visit statistics: Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page visits (page, referring site, country, device type). It uses no cookies and does not identify you.
Contest visit counter: this site is entered in a website contest ranked by visitors, and the organizer's counter (pvuv.ai) counts page visits and how pages are used (page, referring site or campaign tag, country, device and browser type, time on page, scrolling, clicks on links and buttons, page errors and loading speed), which steps of making a video you complete (photo uploaded, video started, video ready, checkout started, purchase) and, once you sign in, our internal account number. It stores a random visitor ID in a first-party cookie and in your browser's storage so a returning visitor is counted once, and keeps IP addresses only as a shortened hash; it does not receive your name, email, photos or videos.
Site steps: on our own servers we count which steps of making a video each browser reaches (visit, upload, purchase) and where it first came from (referring site or campaign tag), using a random ID stored in your browser. No cookies, no third parties, never used for advertising.

We do not sell personal data.

Google user data

When you choose Sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from your Google account, and nothing else. We use them only to sign you in, to show who is signed in and to send the service emails described above. We do not sell Google user data, do not use it for advertising, do not share it except with the processors listed above that run the service, do not let anyone read it except to provide the service, keep it secure or comply with the law, and do not use it to train AI models. You can remove our access at any time in your Google Account's security settings, and deleting your account deletes this data.

Free AI Rap Video's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

How long we keep it

Uploaded photos are deleted automatically 7 days after upload, together with the stage pictures and stored verses made from them.
Finished videos are kept for 180 days after we deliver them, even if you delete them or your account sooner. Why: card networks let buyers dispute a payment (a chargeback) for months, and the video we delivered is our evidence that we provided what was paid for. What: only the finished video files (the video and its vertical copy), nothing else; your photos are not kept for this and are still deleted after 7 days. Where: in private storage only. Once you delete a video, it leaves your library and every link to it stops working at once; only we can reach the file, and only to answer a dispute. After 180 days it is deleted for good. A video you keep stays in your library until you delete it or your account.
A video blocked by our safety check is held: a person reviews it within 60 minutes and either delivers it or refunds the credits. The blocked video is then kept for up to 90 days as a record of that decision, then deleted.
Safety check results and consent records are kept for up to 2 years as a safety and compliance record.
Abuse-prevention records (IP address range and device identifier) are kept for up to 90 days. For a free clip, the device identifier and IP address range are deleted after 90 days; the record that your account has had its free clip is kept for as long as the account exists, and the one-way fingerprint of the Google account is kept after that too, so the same Google account cannot get a second free clip. It cannot be turned back into your Google account, email or name.
Purchase records are kept as long as required for accounting and tax purposes.

Your choices

Delete any video from your library at any time: it disappears from your library and its links stop working at once, and the file is deleted for good 180 days after delivery, as described above.
Delete your account yourself in Settings → Security: your photos, account data and everything else are deleted at once, except finished videos delivered in the last 180 days, which are kept privately for disputes and deleted when those 180 days are up. You can also email support@freeairapvideo.com and we complete deletion within 30 days. Purchase records are kept as long as required for accounting and tax purposes.

If a video made with Free AI Rap Video shows you without your agreement, email support@freeairapvideo.com and we act within 24 hours.
